13 July 2012 The Literary Summer Picture competition is open
All literature and photography lovers are invited to participate in the Literary Summer Picture competition. You can now submit your holiday photos with references to literature. The competition is organised jointly by Tygodnik Powszechny and the Wisława Szymborska Foundation. The winning photographs will be showcased at an exhibition organised in the framework of this year's Conrad Festival. In addition, all finalists will have their photos published in the last September issue of Tygodnik Powszechny. Be creative and let your imagination run wild! Join the competition!
In order to participate, send your photograph along with a short description to tp@tygodnik.com.pl. Write Literackie zdjęcie z wakacji in the subject line. Every week until the end of summer, fuel vouchers redeemable at BP stations throughout Poland are up for grabs and the three finalists will receive a fuel voucher and a Fiat Panda car for a weekend!
The first picture selected by the jury is a photograph taken this summer during a return journey to the world of Grimm's fairy tales, taken by Sylwia Zając. Congratulations!
