3 August 2012 A cycling Saturday at Czuły Barbarzyńca

This Saturday (the 4th of August at 8.00 p.m.) visit the Czuły Barbarzyńca cafe in Krakow (ul. Powiśle 11) for an extraordinary evening with the two wheels. CYCLING SATURDAY is an event designed to accompany the promotion of a book by Irish novelist Flann O'Brien entitled The Third Policeman, considered by many as the "cyclist's Bible" and the opening of a bike rental spot located near the bookshop.

CYCLING SATURDAY will begin with a meeting with Jakub Kosiniak, who will read excerpts from The Third Policeman (at 8.00 p.m.). The next hour will be filled with live top quality music, with Banshee giving a performance of Celtic tunes. Wait for the icing on the cake: the screening of The Misfortunates, a charming comedy drama directed by Felix van Groeningen.

The bike rental spot by the Czuły Barbarzyńca cafe in Krakow was established in cooperation with Biketrip, and all bikes are fitted with a reproduced book cover of Flann O'Brien's The Third Policeman attached to their luggage rack. It is not an understatement to say that these are the only bikes in Poland with such a literary character.
