10 October 2012 Malemen invites to the Conrad Festival
Meeting some writers in person can be just as fascinating as reading their books. The organisers of the Conrad Festival have a special knack for bringing them to Krakow – writes Joanna Rachoń in the latest issue of Malemen, inviting all readers to the festival. She then quotes Michał Paweł Markowski, the artistic director of the event: Literature which doesn't inspire wonder leaves us, readers, indifferent, and reassures us that the organisers have made every effort to ensure that the literature presented in Krakow between the 22nd and the 28th of October will make a difference for us, and a big one at that.
