For four years, the most outstanding Polish and foreign writers have visited Krakow to participate in Joseph Conrad International Literature Festival, which is one of the largest events of this kind in Europe. The occasion to meet is different every year, so is the main theme we choose. This year’s edition is governed by the motto Pomyśl: literatura!/Think: Literature! – says Professor Michał Paweł Markowski, artistic director of the Conrad Festival in one of the special inserts on the festival released today with the latest issue of Polityka magazine.
