10 January 2013 The Second Life of a Book returns!

The Second Life of a Book – the great free book swap campaign – returns! Encouraged by the success of last year’s edition, in which more than 3,500 people took part, this year, we are planning twelve meetings, including four special editions (during the Book Fair and the Children's Book Fair, and during two festivals: the Conrad and the Milosz Festivals). We will traditionally meet on Sundays at 3:00 p.m., in the Wyspiański Pavilion (pl. Wszystkich Świętych 2). This is not the end of all the attractions. We have been joined by young students of Polish studies, who have planned five swaps in the popular Gołębnik, i.e. the Faculty of Polish Studies of the Jagiellonian University. The first one will take place already on the 16th of January, the following ones – on the 20th of March, the 15th of May, the 16th of October, and the 11th of December.
