15 February 2013 Give the second life to your book – swap it!
Everyone who is counting down the days till spring to sit on a park bench again and read a book, is invited to the third big free book swap The Second Life of a Book scheduled for this year. We will meet on Sunday, the 24th of February, at 3 p.m. in the Wyspiański Pavilion (Pl. Wszystkich Świętych 2).
We have good news for you again – we are expanding. The calendar of book swaps planned for this year has been expanded with three book swaps in the Krakow Gallery (16th-19th of May, 7th-9th of June, 21st-27th of October) and two completely new book swaps in Arteteka – a section of the Regional Public Library in Krakow (ul. Rajska 12, the entrance from ul. Szujskiego), during which we will exchange films, music albums, computer games and audio books. We invite you to these swaps on the 26th of May and the 17th of November.
The Second Life of a Book is a joint campaign of the Krakow Festival Office and Bookeriada.pl. Everyone can take part in the free book swap; just bring at least one book and a maximum of ten books if they are in good condition. Books published till 1995 can be swapped only for those that were also published till that year, whereas newer books (published after 1995) can be swapped for every book available during the given book swap.
