21 February 2013 Herta Müller arrives in Krakow again

Herta Müller, the winner of the 2009 Noble Prize in Literature, will visit Poland again. The Romanian-born German novelist will arrive in Krakow at the invitation of the Goethe Institute. She will have a meeting with readers in Krakow on the 17th of April and in Wrocław on the 19th of April. As you may remember, Herta Müller was a guest of the 2nd Conrad Festival.

The meeting with the Noble-prize winning writer in Krakow will start at 6.30 p.m. in the Manggha Museum of Japanese Art and Technology (ul. Konopnickiej 26). Admission is open to holders of free passes (for more information, visit: www.goethe.de).

Before Herta Müller arrives in Krakow, the Goethe Institute invites everyone to watch a multi-media exhibition entitled Herta Müller: A Magical Circle of Words, which will be shown from the 9th of April. The vernissage will take place on the 9th of April at 6 p.m., and the exhibition devoted to the writer will be available to spectators till the 23rd of April, at the Goethe Institute on Market Square in Krakow (Rynek Główny 20).
