4 November 2014 About writing, which is like a game of chess

“If there is any risk that my writing will become mechanical, I intervene at once” – says Jacques Jouet to Piotr Kieżun from kulturaliberalna.pl. The writer talks about his compulsion to create literature, about the OuLiPo literary group, to which he belongs, and about the extraordinary project entitled “Les poèmes adressés” (addressed poems), which involves sending specially composed poetry to unknown addressees at his own expense.

The interview was conducted during the sixth Conrad Festival in Krakow, at which Jacques Jouet was a guest.
