26 May 2010 The addition “Conrad” awarded with “ArtFront”!
On 24 May 2010, at the annual competition of the Chamber of Press Publishers “GrandFront 2009”, a series of additions of Tygodnik Powszechny “Conrad”, issued for the first edition of the International Joseph Conrad Literature Festival, received a special award “ArtFront” for “aesthetic sensitivity and high standard of craftsmanship, in this, polygraphic craftsmanship”. In the additions “Conrad” profiles are presented of the guests of the International Joseph Conrad Literature Festival, which is co-organised by the Krakow Festival Office.
The graphic project of the addition was created by Marek Zalejski, artistic director of “Tygodnik Powszechny”. The co-publisher of the addition “Conrad” is the Foundation “Tygodnik Powszechny”. The addition was realised from the funds of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage.
This year, “Tygodnik Powszechny” will publish four additions of “Conrad”, in which subsequent days of the second edition of the International Joseph Conrad Literature Festival will be presented. An already on Wednesday 26 May, in “Tygodnik Powszechny” the first of the additions announcing the 2nd edition of the Festival, which will take place on 2-7 November 2010.
