20 September 2011 Andrzej Stasiuk receives the Minister of Culture Award

The annual Awards of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage were once again recently granted. The winners – artists, writers, animators and managers whose work has contributed to the development and popularisation of culture in Poland – include Andrzej Stasiuk, one of the greatest contemporary writers, and a regular guest at the Conrad Festival. During last year’s edition of the Festival, Stasiuk took part in the inaugural concert, a literary and musical performance co-created with Mikołaj Trzaska, during which he read passages from his latest book Dziennik pisany później.
