Agnieszka Graff

(b. 1970) – writer, academic lecturer and translator, one of the leading figures of Polish feminism. Member of the „Krytyka Polityczna” team and the Women’s Congress Programme Board. Expert in English and American literature (studied at the University of Oxford and Amherst College, Massachusetts, US). Works as an assistant professor at the Centre for American Studies of the University of Warsaw. A co-founder of 8th March Women’s Association and a member of the Precedent Cases Programme Board at the Helsinki Human Rights Foundation. In 2001 her first acclaimed book Świat bez kobiet, in which she analyses systemic transformation from a feminist perspective, saw print. In 2015 she published the book Matka Feministka, a year later Memy i graffy. Dżender, kasa i seks (jointly with Marta Frej).
