Agnieszka Graff
Translator, cultural expert and journalist, professor in the Centre for American Studies of the University of Warsaw. Author of many research papers (published, e.g., in Signs: Journal of Women in Culture and Society) and essays concerning mainly feminism and anti-feminism. She is a columnist for Wysokie Obcasy. Apart from Świat bez kobiet [A World Without Women] – a book currently being reissued in an extended version by Wydawnictwo Marginesy after twenty years, she also wrote Rykoszetem. Rzecz o płci, seksualności i narodzie [A Ricochet: A Few Words On Gender, Sexuality and the Nation] (2008), Matkę feministkę [A Feminist Mother] (2014) and Memy i graffy. Dżender, kasa i seks [Mems and Graffs. Gender, Money and Sex] (2015, jointly with Marta Frej). Her autobiographical interview Graff. Jestem stąd [Graff. I Am From Here] (2014, jointly with Michał Sutowski) was published in the Series with Rose of the Krytyka Polityczna periodical. Her latest book on international mobilisation against ‘gender ideology’ and its relationships with the wave of right-wing populism, written together with Elżbieta Korolczuk, will be published soon.
