Andrei Khadanovic
Poet, translator of poetry and essayist. He is a lecturer in the History of French literature at the Belarusian State University (Minsk), in general literature and the art of translation in the J. Kolas Belarusian Secondary School in Humanities. His publications include: Staryja werszy (2003), Listy z-pad koudry (2004), Rodacy, lub Limeryki białoruskie (2005), and From Belarus with love (2005). In Poland, his volume of poetry Święta Nowego Rocku was published in 2006. He is a member of the Association of Belarusian Writers and of the Belarusian PEN Club. He also translates poetry from English (Dickinson, Yeats, Auden), Polish (Gałczyński, Miłosz, Herbert), Russian (Brodski, Aygi, Syedokov), Ukrainian (Andrukhovch, Zhadan), and French (Baudelaire, Apollinaire).
