Andrij Kurkov
Ukrainian writer and screenwriter
(born 1961) – Ukrainian writer and screenwriter writing in Russian. He has authored 13 novels, 5 children’s books, over 20 scripts. His works have been translated into 21 languages. Five of his books came out in Poland: Death and the Penguin (2004), The President's Last Love (2007), Penguin Lost (2009), The Good Angel of Death (2010) and Ukraine Diaries: Dispatches from Kiev (2015).
