Angelika Kuźniak

(born 1974) – a reporter, journalist and writer. Since 2000, she has collaborated with Gazeta Wyborcza and Duży Format. She has won the Grand Press award three times, and she was nominated for the Polish-German Journalistic Award. In 2008, Obwód głowy [The Circumference of the Head] – a collection of reportages of which she is a co-author – was nominated for the Nike Literary Award. She is the author of many reportage books and biographies, such as Marlene (2009), where she tells behind-the-scenes stories from Marlene Dietrich’s life, or Papusza (2013), in which she describes the life and heritage of Bronisława Wajs, an outstanding Roma poet.
