Anna Goc

(b. 1987) – journalist, reporter, editor of the Faith Department at „Tygodnik Powszechny”. linguist, studies for PhD at the Faculty of Polish Studies of the Jagiellonian University. Cooperates with the Institute of Journalism, Media and Social Communication of the Jagiellonian University. Until 2012 connected with the Kraków editorial section of „Gazeta Wyborcza”. Award-winning at the 6th edition of the Ryszard Kapuściński Scholarship Competition. A honourable mention for her reportage Wracają do dziś at the finals of the 5th Krystyna Bochenek All-Poland Journalist Contest. Received the jury award at the Małopolska Journalists’ Award in the News category (2011) and for press reportage (2016, 2017). For her interviews In vitro z miłości nominated for the 11th edition of the Andrzej Wojciechowski Radio Zet Award. For her reportage Pokuta księdza Manfreda nominated for the 20th Polish-German Tadeusz Mazowiecki Journalism Award.
