Bronisław Świderski

Polish writer, essayist and translator. In March 1968 he was expelled from the Faculty of Philosophy and Sociology of the University of Warsaw. He emigrated to Denmark and lived in Copenhagen. He was twice nominated for the NIKE Award – in 1999 and 2008 for his novels Słowa obcego (The Words of a Stranger) and Asystent śmierci (Death Assistant). Now he cooperates with Przegląd Polityczny.
