Éric Vuillard

French writer and film director specialising in belles-lettres inspired by historical events. Writer of the Prix Goncourt (2017) for the novel The Order of the Day (published in Polish in 2022). His novel La Guerre des pauvres (2019) was shortlisted for the International Booker Prize.
