Grzegorz Jankowicz

(born in 1978) – literature philosopher, critic and translator. Programming director of the Conrad Festival, member of the Krakow Festival Office Literary Department team, associate of the Centre for Advanced Studies in the Humanities at the Jagiellonian University. Editor of the culture column in Tygodnik Powszechny. Juror of the Wroclaw Silesius Poetry Award. Director of the literary programmes of the Tygodnik Powszechny Foundation, member of the Programming Board of the Copernicus Festival, member of the Programming Board of the Ujazdowski Castle Centre for Contemporary Art. Among his published books there are: Po co jest sztuka? Rozmowy z pisarzami (Krakow 2013), Cmono. Rozmowy z pisarzami (Krakow, 2013), Gombrowicz – Loading. Esej o formie życia (Wrocław 2014), Uchodźcy z ziemi Ulro. Eseje (2015). He edited the volume entitled Opowieść o dwóch miastach. Wrocław i Kraków (Krakow, 2015) prepared for the Salon du livre 2015 in Paris. Together with Anna Kałuża he prepared: Pracownia Poetycka Silesius. Year 1: Foks, Sosnowski (Wrocław, 2015) and Pracownia Poetycka Silesius. Year 2: Matywiecki, Pasewicz, Pietrek (Wrocław, 2016). He collaborated with Zofia Król on Wolne słowa. Zestaw do ćwiczeń indywidualnych i zbiorowych (Gdańsk, 2016). The artist lives in Krakow.
