Katarzyna Kotyńska

translator of the Ukrainian literature, Ukrainianist, literary scholar. Winner of the ANGELUS Central European Literary Award for the translation of Oksana Zabuzhko’s novel The Museum of Abandoned Secrets (2013). She published the book Lwów. O odczytywaniu miasta na nowo (Lviv. On reading the city anew, 2015). Since 1998, she has worked at the Institute of Slavic Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences, and since 2009 at the Institute of East Slavonic Philology of the Jagiellonian University. Author of several dozen translations into Polish, including: Felix Austria by Sofia Andrukhovych (2016), Kochankowie Justycji. Powieść parahistoryczna w ośmiu i pół odcinkach (Коханці Юстиції / Lovers of Lady Justice) by Yurii Andrukhovych (2019) and Dom dla Doma (Дім для Дома / Dom's Dream Kingdom) by Victoria Amelina (2020).
