Lena Kitsopoulou

(born in 1971) – Greek writer, actress, director and designer. She graduated from acting and cooperated with the Greek National Theatre, the State Theatre of Northern Greece and the Art Theatre. In 2006 she made her debut with a collection of short stories titled Nychterides. Aqua velva / Nietoperze. Aqua Velva (Polish edition was released in 2013), which were quickly adapted for theatre. In 2009, she wrote a play titled M.A.R.Y.Ś.K.A. In 2010, her next volume of stories, Bezkresne drogi, was published. She often presents her opinions as a journalist and speaks out on important social issues.
