a writer, a translator, and a doctor of human sciences. The author of the book O poznaniu w twórczości Stanisława Lema [On Cognition in Stanisław Lem's Works, 2006]. The winner of the Literatura na Świecie award for his translation of a collection of H.P. Lovecraft's stories The Dunwich Horror and Other Horrifying Stories (2012). As a prose writer, he debuted with Skoruń – a volume of short stories nominated for the Nike Literary Award, the Gdynia Literary Award, the Silesian Literary Laurel and the Witold Gombrowicz Literary Award.
