Małgorzata Czyńska

(born 1975) – an art historian and a journalist. For a long time she has collaborated with ‘Wysokie Obcasy’ – the weekend insert of Gazeta Wyborcza, where she publishes stories of outstanding female artists. In 2014, she released a book Najpiękniejsze. Kobiety z obrazów [The Most Beautiful Ones. Women from Paintings], in which she presents the profiles of the most interesting female models posing for well-known painters. Her next book, published a year later, was Kobro. Skok w przestrzeń [Kobro. A Leap into Space] – a biography of an unusual artist Katia von Kobro, who had been usually presented only as Władysław Strzemiński’s wife until then.
