Novelist, reportage writer. She graduated from the University of Warsaw with a degree in cultural studies. In 2009, she published her debut novel Toksymia, which was nominated for the 2010 Gdynia Literary Prize. In 2013, she published Bukareszt. Kurz i krew (Bucharest. Dust and Blood) – a multidimensional tale about the Romanians, their tragic history and contemporaneity – for which she received the Teresa Torańska Newsweek Award in the category of the best non-fiction book, as well as the “Gryfia” Literary Award for a Woman Author. In December 2013, Rejmer was nominated for a Polityka’s Passport in the field of literature.
