Marta Eloy Cichocka

(born in 1973) – poet and photographer, translator of works by Calderon and Racine, Juarroz and Gelman, habilitated literary researcher, expert on Iberian Studies and a Francophile. She is a laureate of a scholarship of Michel d’Ornano Foundation (1993-1998), winner of the first prize in the Halina Poświatowska poetry competition (2004), holder of the scholarship of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage in the field of literature (2007), and laureate of the 1st Beca-Residencia Internacional SxS Antonio Machado (2016). The list of her works includes Wejście ewakuacyjne (2003), Lego dla ego (2005), Ślady opon na poduszce (2016), Engramy (2017) and REPUBLICA POETICA 1.0: 111 wierszy – an anthology of contemporary Spanish poetry (2015), as well as two theoretical-literary books on the poetics of the contemporary historical novel, in French (2007) and Spanish (2016).
