Paulina Kolczyńska

Art historian, specialist in the 20th-century art, expert in the North American Dealer Association in New York. In 1992 she was a curator of the exhibition “Polish Roots, British Land” in City Art Centre in Edinburgh, and from 1996 till 1998 she was a promoter and curator of exhibitions, including the first solo exhibition of Zbigniew Libera in the USA. In the 1990s she acted as a promoter of Polish artists in travelling art fairs in New York, Los Angeles and Miami. She was also a director of the Faurschou Gallery in Copenhagen and a promoter of knowledge about modern art (organisation of lectures on the collection of art works and new media in ArteBa, Buenos Aires and the Chelsea Art Museum in New York). Currently she is President of the Management Board and Art Director of the Art Stations Foundation in Poznań. At the 2nd Conrad Festival she will conduct a vernissage of the painting Das Haar by Anselm Kiefer together with Agnieszka Sabor on 5 November (Friday) at 8.00 p.m.
