Robert D. Kaplan

An American journalist, political writer, war correspondent during the Iran-Iraq War and the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan. His texts appeared in The Washington Post, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Atlantic Monthly. The following of his books have been translated into Polish: Warrior Politics: Why Leadership Demands a Pagan Ethos (2009), Mediterranean Winter: The Pleasures of History and Landscape in Tunisia, Sicily, Dalmatia, and Greece (2009), Balkan Ghosts: A Journey Through History (2010), Eastward to Tartary: Travels in the Balkans, the Middle East, and the Caucasus (2010).
