Urszula Pieczek was born in Lubaczów, but she decided to live in Krakow. An editor and a promotion specialist in the Znak monthly, an editor of the trilingual literary magazine Radar, a translator from Ukrainian, and a doctoral student at the Faculty of Polish Studies of the Jagiellonian University.
