Connecting Emerging Literary Artists. Speed Dating: Publishers and Translators

Who knows more about valuable books published abroad than a translator from a particular language? Who can promote the literature of a foreign author better than a publisher? What would happen if they were finally given an opportunity to meet in one place? To this end, we are proposing an event for representatives of two industries that work on a daily basis with a common goal: to publish the best possible foreign literature. Sitting on the panels will be leading publishers, while in front of them there will be nine translators translating into Polish from Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Czech, Slovenian, Romanian, Serbian and Portuguese. All of them will have the opportunity to present titles of their choice capable of enriching the Polish publishing market with new translations.
