Immortal Kafka | Jankowicz | Szántó

Meeting with Gábor T. Szántó

Host: Grzegorz Jankowicz

What if Franz Kafka hadn’t died of tuberculosis in 1924 and instead signed up for therapy with Sigismund Freud to help him break toxic family bonds? And more: having regained his health, what if he’d given up his addiction to writing and instead led a simple life as a carpenter and gardener, getting ready for the next stage – moving to Palestine? Gábor T. Szántó imagines an alternative yet not impossible biography of Kafka to get closer to the core of his work.

21 October, at 17:30 Czeczotka Palace (corner of St. Anna and Wiślna streets)
