Mud Sweeter Than Honey | Meeting with Małgorzata Rejmer

Mud Sweeter Than Honey | Meeting with Małgorzata Rejmer

It is a story about a country long tormented by Enver Hoxha – dictator who broke all ties with Yugoslavia, the Soviet Union and China because he believed that Albania can be a self-sufficient stronghold of communism. It’s a story about people exiled simply because they were born in the wrong family or tried to think for themselves in what they thought was the privacy of their own home. It’s a story about bloody revolts in labour camps and deadly attempts to flee the country turned into a virtual bunker; about lives sacrificed on the altar of an ideological paradise and about those who crushed them regardless of consequences.
