The crime trail

The crime trail

Guide: Agnieszka Pudełko
The crime trail will reveal the dark face of Krakow reflected in contemporary literature. We will travel in time to the Middle Ages and the period of the Royal and Imperial Monarchy, we will discover pre-war and post-war crimes in the city. We will explore the nooks and crannies where blood was shed, find the shelters of criminals described in literary works and the places where law enforcement officers worked when investigating the cases. Which serial murderer’s modus operandi involved leaving a small note on the crime scene? Which one preferred perfumed handkerchiefs? Can a restaurant serve as a detective agency? What is Badeni Report ? What secret does Kroke hide? We will try to answer the above questions during the walk. No doubt, there will be plenty of bloodcurdling stories, with no happy end whatsoever.
