Literary Walks

A series of literary walks, which engage both locals and tourists in exploring the City of the Kings from its “literary” side, has enjoyed immense popularity for years. Accompanied by experts, the participants of the walks will track Conrad’s presence on the streets of Krakow, like on Poselska Street, where the future writer lived with his father Apollo, Św. Anny Street, where he attended the middle school, and Floriańska Street, where the so-called Fajlla’s house was situated, housing a dormitory where young Korzeniowski moved to after his father’s death. The walks have been planned as a series of meetings, some of which will be organised as part of the Literary Walk in Krakow UNESCO City of Literature, and some will be held at the request of students and teachers. You can sign up for walks by sending an email to spacery@miastoliteratury.pl.
