29 October 2013 The Festival and the Fair are a model to be followed
The second wind that the Krakow Book Fair has caught in the recent years is, of course, thanks to the work of the team that organises the event, but also – which is worth remembering – to the Conrad Festival. The example of their cooperation should only be followed – reads Ryszard Kozik’s article in today’s issue of Gazeta Wyborcza. It goes on: Krakow theatres love to cumulate premieres, which is why neither the audience, nor the critics are able to see them at the same time. Clubs and orchestras compete for the audience using celebrities. And the literary environment shows that cooperation is possible. One of the results of this cooperation is the title of UNESCO City of Literature. An example to be followed.
