2 December 2014 Writing as a way of life
“For me writing is not work at all. Work is something hard, something you want to finish as quickly as possible and finally have a break (…). For me writing is rather relaxing than working. That is why I do not need any days off or leaves” – in a conversation with Wacław Radziwinowicz from the Książki magazine, Boris Akunin talks about what he has learnt about the death of writers, what Japanese children write about in school essays, what his view on contemporary Russia is and what he was looking for in Krakow during the Conrad Festival.
The writer participated in a meeting with the readers “The Endless Russia”, held as part of this year’s Conrad Festival
