Adam Wajrak

Journalist cooperating with “Gazeta Wyborcza”, well-known activist for protection of the environment. In 2006 he initiated a campaign of signing a petition to protect the Rospuda Valley. He wrote five books, all of them on topics centred around nature. He won many prestigious awards on ecology and journalism, e.g. in 2005 the American Time magazine named him “European Hero” This year he was honoured with the Knight's Cross of the Order of Rebirth of Poland.
