Aleksandra Lipczak

freelance journalist and author. In 2017, she published her first non-fiction book, Ludzie z Placu Słońca, which is a collection of short stories about modern Spain and the 2008 financial crisis. The book was nominated for the Witold Gombrowicz Literary Prize for debuting authors. She is currently working on a second book about Al-Andalus and the echoes of the Islamic past in Spain and Europe today.
