
Anke Kuhl

An illustrator and author of children's books. She studied drawing at the University of Mainz and visual communication at the Hochschule für Gestaltung in Offenbach. She is the founder of the Labor Ateliergemeinschaft collective, in which she has been collaborating with several other artists (including Jörg Mühl) for 25 years. She has written many books that have been published abroad, and has also published two comics for children. In 2011, she received the Deutscher Jugendliteraturpreis (Germany's most important award in the field of literature for children and youth). She lives with his family in Frankfurt.
