Beata Kowalska

Sociologist from the Jagiellonian University, feminist, activist. Her research interests of recent years have been focused on Muslim feminism and the situation of women in Middle East countries. This subject has enabled her to combine scientific passions with the experience of working in gender equality programmes in Poland and abroad. Author of books: Zapominani Bracia (2003) and Kobiety, rozwój, obywatelstwo w Haszymidzkim Królestwie Jordanii (2013).
