David Van Reybrouck

(b. 1971) – a writer from the Belgian part of Flanders. He specialises in historical prose, including both fiction and scientific prose. The object of his interest and research is Congo, its culture, as well as political and social issues. In 2016, his acclaimed book Congo. The Epic History of a People, which is a result of many years of the author's travels throughout Congo and profound research, will be published in a Polish version.
