Didier Eribon
(born 1953) – French sociologist and philosopher. Graduate of the University of Reims, received his PhD from the Sorbonne. He works at the University of Amiens and has lectured at many universities including Berkeley, Princeton, Cambridge and Valencia. He has written numerous books on sociology, philosophy, history of ideas and gender studies. The most important titles include Réflexions sur la question gay, Une morale du minoritaire. Variations sur un thème de Jean Genet, La société comme verdict. Classes, identités, trajectoires. His books published in Poland include an interview with Georges Dumézile, Entretiens avec Didier Eribon – Georges Dumézil,a conversation with Claude Lévi-Strauss, De Près Et de Loin (Conversations with Claude Lévi-Strauss), a biography of Michel Foucault and Retour à Reims (Returning to Reims,2019).
