Ewa Zaleska

Spanish translator, author of translations of novels by Mario Vargas Llosa, Isabel Allende, Enrique Vila-Matas, Javier Marías and Javier Cercas. In 2006 and 2012, she was awarded the Cervantes Institute Warsaw Prize for Literary Translation from Spanish. Her translation of Javier Marias’ Your Face Tomorrow won the 2014 Literatura na Świecie Award. She coordinated an issue of Literatura na Świecie devoted to contemporary Spanish women writers (9-10/2024). Her translation of Sara Mesa's novel Un Amor (Glowbook), and a second novel is in the pipeline.
