Grzegorz Jankowicz

Literary philosopher, essayist, editor, publisher, critic and translator. In 2009-2024, he was the Programme Director of the Conrad Festival, editor of the Cultural Section of Tygodnik Powszechny and director of literary programmes at the Tygodnik Powszechny Foundation. With Albert Manguell, he wrote the book Małe języki, wielkie literatury. Small Languages, Big Literature (2017). He hosts reading workshops with young people, senior citizens and prison inmates. He has been director of the Polish Book Institute since June 2024.
