Jakub Kornhauser

poet and translator, literary critic and scholar
Jakub Kornhauser

(born 1984) – poet, essayist, translator and literary scholar, doctor of humanities, co-founder and employee of the Avant-garde Research Centre at the Jagiellonian University; specialises in French and Central European literature. In 2016, he was awarded the Wisława Szymborska Award for his volume of poetry titled Drożdżownia. He recently published a collection of essays entitled Wolność krzepi (2018) and a collection of short forms called Dziewięć dni w ścianie (2019).
