Justyna Czechowska

Literary scholar, cultural animator, translator from Swedish and Norwegian, author of articles, anthologies and interviews. Co-founder of the Association of Literary Translators. She has worked as a coordinator of international cultural projects and as a literary agent. Winner of the Wisława Szymborska Prize in 2018 for her translation of Linn Hansén's book Ga till historien, and a scholarship recipient of the Society of Lovers of Selma Lagerlöf's Works (Selma Lagerlöf-sällskapet). In 2023, the Swedish Academy distinguished her with an award for translators of Swedish literature.Since 2015, she has been co-creating the programme of the Found in Translation festival. She served on the board of CEATL from 2021 to 2025. Member of the Literary Union and the Polish PEN Club.
