PhD student at the Film and Visual Culture Unit of the Institute of Polish Culture at the University of Warsaw, translator. Interested in the theories of visual culture and the methodology of visual research. He published in Konteksty, Kultura Współczesna, Invisible Culture, Dialog, Kultura Popularna and at Dwutygodnik.com. Winner of the FNP START 2012 and START 2013 scholarships. Co-translator of Jonathan Crary’s book Suspensions of Perception: Attention, Spectacle and Modern Culture (2009) and translator of W.J.T. Mitchell’s What do Pictures Want?: The Lives and Loves of Images (2013), and many other texts connected with visual culture. Co-editor of the academic textbook Antropologia kultury wizualnej (2012). He is carrying out the NCN grant Współczesne oblicza ikonoklazmu. Editor of the Widok. Teorie i praktyki kultury wizualnej magazine.
