Michał Sutowski

A political scientist and publicist connected with Krytyka Polityczna (where he works as a feature writer, the secretary of the editorial section and a member of Wydawnictwo KP publishing house). He also publishes articles in Gazeta Wyborcza, Rzeczpospolita and on the Wirtualna Polska Internet portal. He is a coordinator of the Institute of Advanced Study in Warsaw – a scientific institution which deals with the most fundamental problems of contemporary culture. He is a graduate of Inter-Faculty Individual Studies in the Humanities at Warsaw University, he also studied at Yale University within the scholarship programme of Krytyka Polityczna. He deals with, among others, the ideology of Polish democratic opposition, and Russian and German policy. Moreover, he translates from English and German and has appeared as a DJ in Kazimiera Szczuka’s radio show several times. He does not own a cat.
