Michalina Jurczyk

Born in 1994. Graphic designer, book designer and illustrator. Graduate and fellow of the Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków, where she studied at the Faculty of Graphic Arts. Her graduation project – an original book titled Pyton i Trąbka – was showcased at the exhibition of the Best Diploma Projects of the Academies of Fine Arts (at the Zbrojownia Sztuki Gallery in Gdańsk), where it won the City of Sopot Prize. Her design of Krowa i Krówka brought her a honourable mention at the Jasnowidze international contest. Her designs of Stanisław Wyspiański’s Curse and Leszek Kołakowski’s 13 bajek z królestwa Lailonii are showcased at national and international art book reviews. She is associated with Wydawnictwo Ha!art publishing house and other outlets as a cover designer.
