Olga Bartosiewicz

PhD of Literary Studies, translator and lecturer at the Institute of Romance Philology of the Jagiellonian University. Author of a monograph on the work of poet, critic and existential philosopher B. Fundoianu/Benjamin Fondane: Ambiguous Identity. Historical, Philosophical and Literary Contexts of the Work of B. Fundoianu/Benjamine Fondane (1898-1944). She translated works by Romanian authors such as Adrian Schiop and Lavinia Branişte. She was prized in the New Face category of the literary magazine Literatura na Świecie for her translation of Schiop's novel Soldiers: Story from Ferentari.
