Doctor of humanities specialising in Scandinavian linguistics, a Norwegian and Icelandic studies scholar. Assistant professor at the Department of Scandinavian Languages in the Department of Scandinavian Studies at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. Fellow of the Icelandic Ministry of Culture and Education and Snorri Sturluson Fellowship. Translator of Icelandic literature, author of the Icelandic-Polish and Polish-Icelandic dictionary. His interests relate to the grammar of the Scandinavian languages (especially Icelandic, Faroese and Norwegian), as well as the issues of language policy in the Scandinavian countries, especially the purist trends in Iceland and the Faroe Islands.
