Rafał Rosół
Philologist and linguist, professor at the Institute of Classical Philology of the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. Author of the academic books Wschodnie korzenie kultu Apollona (Eastern Origins of the Cult of Apollo, 2010) and Frühe semitische Lehnwörter im Griechischen (2013). He translated Greek and Latin poetry into Polish. He also published a number of satirical books, including Potrawa osłów greckich, czyli literatura nieco na opak (2016), Heksa na hulajpecie, czyli fraszki z naszych fyrtla (2017), and Chorągiewki z tałesu. Piłka nożna, antysemityzm i Zagłada (Flags made of tallith. Football, anti-Semitism and the Shoah, 2022) dedicated to the anti-Semitism present at the football stadiums. He is a laureate of the Golden Pin awarded at the 17th Ignacy Krasicki All-Polish Satirical Tournament ‘For the Golden Pin’.
